Our Essential Leadership Skills for Managers programme is typically offered as a 3-5 day course, delivered in-person or virtually.
- The three-day version provides a focused programme that delivers the essential leadership knowledge, skills and competencies managers need right now, including how to coach, motivate and delegate more effectively.
- the five-day version includes greater explanations & practice of more leadership competencies, introduces developing and understanding emotional intelligence and conflict management, and includes extended time for group discussion and application.
The programme follows a simple three-phase learning path:
Learn the core principles: Managers are introduced to proven leadership models and concepts, common pitfalls, and behaviours that create trust and engagement.
Practise the skills: Through real examples, guided activities, and short simulations, managers apply the techniques to situations they face in your organisation.
Put it into action: Each participant creates a personal action plan to help them apply the tools consistently after the course.
The content can still be adapted to your organisation’s goals, culture, and the challenges your managers are currently facing. This ensures the tools feel relevant, practical, and easy to use from day one.
Optional follow-up coaching or group sessions are available to reinforce learning and help managers embed new leadership habits in the workplace.

This programme is designed for new, existing, or soon-to-be managers who need practical tools to lead people confidently, with a focus on mid-level or senior managers.
No prior leadership experience is required. The course is designed to support new managers learning the basics, experienced managers refreshing their approach, and potential managers building confidence before stepping into leadership.
The course is available as a 3-5 day programme, depending on your managers needs, and can be delivered in person at your organisation, live virtually via Teams or Zoom, or through a blended format depending on your requirements.
Yes. The training still be tailored to your organisation’s goals, culture, industry, and current challenges, with examples and discussions shaped around real situations your managers face day to day.
The programme works best with groups of 6 up to maximum 16 participants to allow for discussions, interactions, and personal feedback. We sometimes accommodate slightly larger groups but this will need to be discussed.
Yes. Participants will receive training materials, including an electronic pdf of the presentation, we well as a personal action planner to help them apply what they’ve learned back in the workplace after the training. They will also receive a physical and/or electronic certificate, depending on the format
Optional follow-up support is available that includes group coaching, one-to-one coaching, refresher sessions, or additional modules to help managers embed the learning over time. These are not included in the day-rate for the course.
