Richard is a highly experienced management trainer, leadership coach, and educator with over 30 years in the training and education sector, including more than 12 years in managerial roles. He spent over six years lecturing in leadership at a university and has been training business managers for more than 13 years.
Throughout his career, Richard has successfully trained over 4,500 managers across a variety of organisations and industries, with over 95% of his delegates rating his courses as excellent or very good.
For 23 years, Richard worked in Abu Dhabi and Dubai. He served as Head of Training for the Computer Department at a university in Abu Dhabi and lectured in leadership to engineering undergraduates in the Humanities Department.
He then joined Spearhead Training, the Gulf's leading training company, in Dubai, where he took on the role of Senior Leadership and Management Trainer. Richard has since delivered training programmes to employees from diverse industries across the UK, Europe, the Arabian Gulf, Asia, and online.
His expertise spans sectors such as manufacturing, technology, facilities management, construction, finance, engineering, and oil and gas.
In addition to group training, Richard offers one-on-one leadership and management coaching and consulting services. He has delivered Institute of Leadership & Management (ILM) accredited courses and is an active member of the ILM community.
Richard is passionate about unlocking the potential of managers, helping them lead their teams to achieve sustainable and effective results. He finds immense satisfaction in guiding managers to discover their leadership purpose and to learn how to lead with confidence, while also enhancing their knowledge and competencies.

Laurence brings over twenty years of experience as a trainer and coach. He has worked with employees across the UK, Germany, the Middle East, and Asia, equipping them with the personal skills and competencies needed to enhance their effectiveness in their respective roles.
Specializing in tailored training courses, Laurence focuses on areas such as management and leadership, decision-making, communication skills, conflict resolution, and productivity. An impressive 98% of his delegates have rated him or his courses as Excellent/Very Good.
Laurence has served as a senior trainer at IBM and has led training projects for four international companies, traveling extensively throughout Europe. Prior to this, he worked with two prestigious UK law firms after completing his Law Society final exams. More recently, he served as a senior associate trainer for a Dubai-based training company, where he trained managers in Saudi Arabia, the UAE, and Qatar. Laurence has also collaborated with the PwC Academy to develop training programs for lawyers, bankers, and EU institutions.
A certified CTI coach and NLP Master Practitioner, Laurence also holds certifications in Emotional Intelligence, DISC personality profiling, and Nonviolent Communication (NVC).
For the first fifteen years of his leadership career, Laurence served as a senior administrator in higher education, overseeing UK-benchmarked quality assurance standards across the GCC and Asia.
In 2009, Laurence took on the role of Director of Learning at Saudi Aramco, where he led several unique, time-sensitive projects across three organizations. He also served as an HR advisor to three successive General Managers and provided professional guidance to over 100 young hires and high-potential employees as they prepared to establish and lead fifty new Aramco offices worldwide.
As a CPD leadership training professional, Laurence holds Fellowships with the RSA and qualifications from ICF and EMCC, along with certifications in PMI, POSH, NSA, and EFQM, and BQF QA assessor credentials. He is a senior faculty consultant with LEORON, FidesOak, and Beckett McInroy Consultancy, where he focuses on future-proofing learning outcomes to enhance the leadership agility needed to compete in an ever-evolving world.
